The Royal Albert Hall, The Nutcracker Ballet Project

Royal Albert Hall, Nutcracker commissioned scarf

In September 2017, The Royal Albert Hall contacted me and asked to see my work. After showing them my paintings and scarves, they commissioned me to create a design based on The Nutcracker Ballet. This was a dream project as I adore the ballet. I had such fun researching this print. The brief being to create a design around The Nutcracker Ballet, give an indication of the dancers on stage at The Royal Albert Hall and to include in the audience Queen Victoria and Prince Albert whose forwarding thinking vision it was to create The Royal Albert Hall. They have used my design on both a silk scarf and a tote bag which is currently in their shop.
